Blogs

No one one really knows for sure how many blogs exist in the world wide web. Technorati has opined that, as of 2008, there were 184,000,000 blogs. A few pundits have theorized that this number could have climbed as high as 450,000,000 in 2012 but that “only” 164,000,000 blogs are active.

How can you find the information you need? How can you keep up with blogging in your topic of choice?

We’ve combed the Internet looking for bloggers that we believe are:

Blogging on issues of interest to HR Professionals and Employment Lawyers;
Have credibility; and
Stay Current.

We started with the obvious choices — law firms and lawyers who specialize in and blog on employment law. We then added blogs from HR Professionals. We also examined commercial institutional websites that were blogging with credibility on employment issues, like American Express, or commercial Human Resources site, like SHRM and its publications, including HR Magazine. The goal is to wrap our arms around the big thinkers in HR and Employment Law, and corral them into one location for you to read at your convenience.

Make no mistake, HR Gazette gives full credit to authors and sources. Not only do we give accurate attribution, we link back to the source so that you can read it in its original location if that suits you better. Some of the folks on our Blog list show up on our Blog Roll (see the Home Page). We’d love to feature everyone on the front page all the time but there are just too many of us blogging! In the meantime, here’s a list of “folks to read” when you are surfing the Interwebs. If you follow, be sure to mention HR Gazette sent you.
